Behind the gates
Greystone was developed from 1989 through 2006 in the Appalachian foothills southeast of Birmingham, and today it is two gated sections, Founders and Legacy, built around the two courses of Greystone Golf and Country Club. The Founders Course opened in 1991 on a Bob Cupp and Hubert Green design, the Legacy Course followed in 2000 on a Rees Jones design, and since 2016 the Founders Course has hosted the Regions Tradition, a senior major on the PGA Tour Champions. Most of Greystone sits inside the city of Hoover.
For Greystone drivers, Eli's Elite is about as close to home as a detailer gets. The shop at 1100 Corporate Drive is in Meadow Brook Corporate Park, and Hugh Daniel Drive is about a mile farther east on US 280, which makes a ceramic coating drop-off at the shop an easy errand. Everything else comes to your garage or driveway: The Essentials in about three hours, The Elite in four to five, and paint correction from One-Stage to Color Sanding. Foothills living
Greystone was planned around its natural setting in the foothills, so many homes sit among trees that drop pollen in spring and sap, leaves and bird droppings the rest of the year. Lake Purdy lies just outside the gates, and the daily run on US 280 toward Birmingham adds brake dust, bugs and road film. Even the car that lives in the garage collects dust and fingerprints between drives.
Trees over the driveway mean pollen in spring and sap and droppings in summer. The Elite's clay bar pulls out what has bonded, and its premium 12-month wax keeps the finish slick between visits.
For the car that rarely leaves the garage, paint correction in your driveway removes swirls and haze, and a SystemX ceramic coating, applied at the shop just down US 280, holds that gloss for years.
The Regions Tradition comes to the Founders Course each spring; the 2026 edition ran April 30 to May 3. Book The Essentials the week before, and the car is ready for guests and the club.

Yes, with a little help from you. When you book, text Eli your gate or guest details for Founders, Legacy or Greystone Farms, and he will plan his arrival around them. Once he is through, nothing is needed from the house: water, power and professional equipment ride along with him.
Very close. Eli applies every coating at his shop, 1100 Corporate Drive in Meadow Brook Corporate Park, and Hugh Daniel Drive is about a mile east of the park on US 280. Coatings start at $1,249 for Titanium, and Eli is a Certified SystemX installer. Detailing and paint correction still happen at your home.
Usually The Essentials on a regular schedule, with paint correction when the paint shows swirls in the sun; One-Stage starts at $799 and comes to you. The Signature Experience, $2,500 a year, starts with a two-stage paint correction and a ceramic coating applied at the shop, then brings twelve maintenance cleanings and two emergency cleanings to your home.
The Elite. On top of the full Essentials detail, it shampoos the carpet and cloth seats, steam disinfects the cabin, removes odors and pulls out even heavy pet hair. School-run SUVs fall in the Large size, where The Elite is $625 and The Essentials $325.
