Life on Shades Mountain
Vestavia Hills began as a subdivision on the southern flank of Shades Mountain, and many of its streets still sit under pines and hardwoods on hilly, wooded lots. That means pollen in spring, sap and leaf stain through summer and fall, and long Alabama summers that bake dark interiors in ballfield parking lots. Add daily miles on Montgomery Highway, I-65 and US 280, and paint and wheels collect a film a quick wash never quite lifts.
Wooded lots from Shades Mountain to Tanglewood drop pollen in spring, then sap and leaves the rest of the year. A hand wash, clay bar and fresh wax lift it before it bakes on.
Wald Park, McCallum Park and the Altadena Valley Park trails send cleats, wet towels and muddy paws back into the car. Deep vacuuming, carpet shampoo and pet hair removal reset the cabin.

Yes. Eli is fully mobile and details at homes and suitable office locations across Vestavia Hills, from Shades Mountain and the Montgomery Highway corridor to Rocky Ridge, Tanglewood, Dolly Ridge and Altadena. Cahaba Heights and Liberty Park are covered too. The whole detail happens on site, so there is nothing to drop off and no ride to arrange.
Usually, yes. Eli brings his own water, power and professional equipment, so a driveway, garage area or office parking space with room to work around the car is all he needs. On the slopes of Shades Mountain some driveways are steep or heavily shaded, so if yours is, text Eli a photo before the appointment and he will confirm the best place to set up.
For everyday dust, crumbs and light pet hair, The Essentials is a full interior and exterior reset in about three hours, $250 to $325 for small through large vehicles. If the carpets are stained, the seats are cloth, or there is odor or heavy pet hair, The Elite adds carpet and cloth seat shampoo, steam disinfection, odor removal and extreme pet hair removal, $500 to $625. Yes, as long as you know what it does. No detail stops pollen from falling, but it clears what has built up on the paint and glass and in the vents and carpets, and it leaves protection behind. The Essentials includes a premium 3-month wax, and The Elite adds a clay bar and a 12-month wax, so pollen and sap rinse off more easily at the next wash.
Yes, with one difference: ceramic coating is applied at Eli's shop at 1100 Corporate Drive in Birmingham rather than at the house. Eli is a SystemX Certified Installer, and coatings start at $1,249. Detailing packages and paint correction stay fully mobile, so your regular care still happens at your Vestavia Hills home. The ceramic coating page walks through the options.
