Inverness took its name from the Scottish city, and neighborhoods such as Kirkwall and Selkirk carry the theme on. The City of Hoover describes the community as 1,650 wooded acres of neighborhoods, retail centers, a country club and a golf course, and Inverness Center adds a 150-acre office park on the US 280 corridor. Most of Inverness sits inside Hoover, with some streets in unincorporated Shelby County. MOB INC, the club behind the car show where Eli's work won Best in Show in September 2025, holds its monthly meet at 40 Inverness Center Parkway on the first Saturday morning. Eli brings that same show-level care to daily drivers: The Essentials takes about three hours for a complete interior and exterior detail, and The Elite four to five. Paint correction is mobile as well, while ceramic coating is applied at Eli's shop on Corporate Drive, a short drive east on US 280.
Lakes, fairways and 280
Those 1,650 wooded acres are part of what makes Inverness pleasant, and part of what your car lives under. Every spring, pollen drifts off the trees around Lake Heather and the Inverness Country Club fairways onto anything parked outside. Summer adds sap and bird droppings, and a car that sits all day in an open Inverness Center lot bakes its dash and seats. Yes. All of Inverness is inside Eli's 30-mile service radius, whether your street is in Hoover or in the unincorporated Shelby County part of the community. Woodford, Kerry Downs, Heather Point, Inverness Point, Selkirk and Lake Heather Estates are all covered, and Eli's shop on Corporate Drive is only a short drive east on US 280.
Usually, if building management is fine with it and there is safe room around the car. Eli arrives with his own water, power and equipment, so the car can be finished while you are at your desk or in meetings. Name the building when you book, and Eli will confirm the setup ahead of time.
Yes. Book The Elite for a full detail with a clay bar, headlight restoration and a premium 12-month wax, and add paint correction if swirls show in the sun. Both are done at your home or office. If you want a coating that lasts for years, plan a visit to the shop well ahead of the meet.
Text Eli your gate or entry details when you book, and he will plan his arrival around them. Once he reaches the car, he needs nothing from the house: his own water, power and professional equipment come with him, and he works in the driveway or on the garage apron.
Only at the shop. Eli's shop is at 1100 Corporate Drive, east of Inverness along US 280, and every coating goes on there rather than in a driveway. Eli holds SystemX certification, and the Titanium level is $1,249. Detailing and paint correction still happen at your Inverness home or office.
