Leeds grew up along the Little Cahaba River, an old stagecoach route and two railroads, and it is one of the places that claims John Henry, the steel-driving man who, as one version of the story goes, beat a steam engine at the Oak Mountain Tunnel. I-20, US 78 and US 411 all meet here, and the city reaches into St. Clair and Shelby counties. That adds up to a lot of driving and little spare time for a detail shop across town. If your garage holds a car that gets babied for those weekends, next to a work truck or a family SUV that never misses Pep Rally on the Parkway, Eli treats each one with the same patient, owner-led care, whether it needs a gloss-ready exterior or a cabin that smells new again.
Wear and tear, Leeds style
Leeds bills itself as the country in the city, and its cars live both halves. One week can take a car from I-20 traffic to a gravel drive near the county line to a Saturday at the track, and every stop leaves its own mark. Road film dulls the paint, red clay works into carpet and tire treads, spring pollen coats the glass, and the Alabama summer sun bakes dashboards and leather. Eli's packages are built to lift all of it safely, then protect what is underneath.
Exits 140 and 144 tie Leeds to I-20, and highway miles leave a gray film on paint and baked-on brake dust on wheels. A careful hand wash, bug removal and wheel cleaning clear it away.
Country roads and gravel driveways send red clay into tire treads, door jambs and floor mats. A full vacuum, carpet spot removal, door jamb cleaning and rubber mat restoration bring a truck or SUV cabin back.
Barber's race weekends and open track days are just down I-20. Eli can add gloss before you go and clear bugs, road grime and brake dust after, with interior UV protection for cars parked in the sun.

Yes. Before you go, The Essentials gives the car a paint gloss enhancement, streak-free glass, a premium tire shine and a clean cabin. After the weekend, the same detail clears bugs, brake dust and road grime. For track or collector cars with swirls or haze in the paint, Eli can inspect the finish and tell you honestly whether paint correction makes sense.
The Essentials covers a full vacuum, carpet spot removal, floor mats, door jambs and rubber mat restoration. If clay has soaked into the carpet or the cabin smells like wet gear, The Elite adds luxury carpet shampoo, cloth seat shampoo, interior steam disinfection and odor removal. Trucks and SUVs fall in the Large size: $325 for The Essentials and $625 for The Elite.
Yes, with one difference from everything else on this page: the coating is applied at Eli's Birmingham shop, 1100 Corporate Drive, not at your house. Eli is a SystemX Certified Installer and does that work there, while detailing packages and paint correction still come to your Leeds driveway or office. The ceramic coating page lays out the options.
It depends on the size of the vehicle. The Essentials costs $250, $295 or $325 for small, medium and large vehicles, and The Elite costs $500, $575 or $625. Oversized or modified vehicles add 25% to the Large price. Paint correction and ceramic coating each get their own per-vehicle quote.
